Reunion 「
Summary[]
Plot Details[]
As Sein walks through town, he senses Frieren's mana. In an abandoned building, Frieren analyzes the poison in Stark. Fern says they should take him to a church, but Frieren reminds her that their enemies are hunting them and even have access to the Goddess's magic. Fern struggles over what they should do, and she realizes the archer should have an antidote. When she asks Frieren why she didn't bring the idea up despite teaching it to her, Frieren tells her she would have lost control of herself and they cannot go with that solution in the middle of the city. Fern objects given that Stark's life is at stake, but Frieren emphasizes that she cannot let her enter battle and make the Empire an enemy. Fern asks Frieren if she does not trust her skills, and Frieren responds that in Fern's current state, she does not.

Sein reunites with Frieren's party.
Suddenly, the door opens, and Sein enters. They quickly greet each other and Sein immediately checks on Stark, where he attempts to heal him. Fern asks why Sein is here, and Frieren tells her she sensed Sein's mana and felt secure letting him know their location with her own mana, as their enemies were using the Goddess's magic to track them and Sein was not a threat known to their enemies. She reminds Fern that her noticing Sein was up to chance, but as a mage, she should be calm and make use of any coincidence.

Sein manages to heal Stark.
Afterwards, Sein successfully heals Stark, who will need to rest. Sein discusses the poison, which was potent enough to kill anyone but Stark with a graze. He reveals that he is in Eiseberg to look for Gorilla and requests they update him about the ongoing situation.
Using the tracking magic, Lore communicates to Wolf that Frieren's Party has not left the building. Wolf asks if they can make them fight outside so he can shoot at them, and Lore tells Gazelle to make his way to the building. Additionally, she tells him that if they do not fight back and flee, he does not need to chase them too far.

Sein pinpoints the enemy priest by exploiting the tracing magic's weakness.
After Frieren and Fern update Sein, he concludes that they are not aware of who the enemy is, but they are able to be cornered by them through someone utilizing the Goddess's magic to trace them. He tells them that he can pinpoint the enemy priest by exploiting the weakness of the tracing magic, however, they must strike directly at that spot. Frieren understands what Sein is implying, as the enemy is also trying to avoid causing commotion and the Goddess's magic is the core of their strategy, not just an aide.

Gazelle attacks Fern from behind.
Fern tries to understand what Frieren means, but she is suddenly attacked by Gazelle from behind. Stark wakes up and manages to defend her, though he overexerts himself in the process after recovering from the poison. After fending off Gazelle and an arrow shot by Wolf, Frieren's party is forced to take cover. While hiding, Frieren explains to Fern that the Goddess's magic is the weakness of the enemy, and Fern realizes that they can take the enemy out by striking their control tower. Frieren supports Fern's idea and tells her she trusts that she will not miss.
